Energy Consumption of Window Air Conditioning Unit

Nothing is more luxurious with the desert dwellers than those who entered the house cool in the hot afternoon. Cool in cold temperatures. It is easy to be spoiled, living in a house on the central cooling units with central air. Each room is cold the next. I know people who wear warm clothes in their air conditioned homes, rather than trying to find a setting from the cold external temperature, but not cold. These people have spent a lot of money and are not reported their big energy bills. I have a separate air conditioner in my window and I even have a portable air conditioner to cope with the cooling requirements.

On the other hand, I have to watch my energy consumption, and that includes AC bills during the months of summer. I waited until the temperature inside is too high to be tolerated by a fan. That's when my window AC units pay for themselves. On the other hand, some people say that the cooling back home every day consumes more energy than one is always left in temperature. In my case, my method works best for me, I think the electric bill!

The only area I was in a cool room in which I live. This eliminates the bathroom, laundry room, kitchen and patio. In the cold night, I opened the window and let the cool air inside. Hung windows and curtains in the morning before the sun came out. If you leave the house during the day, the items were excluded. When I got back into the night, the units are included at the lowest setting is necessary to make my room comfortable to use. I am not cool my room until one hour before bed.

If I was at home during the day, closed windows and curtains. The units included the lowest settings possible. I shall limit directly with area, kitchen, living room or day. Unit in my bedroom is off. Cold shower during the day helps me to adjust to temperature. I do not want to cool the house, because I have been working to clean up the sweat or exercise.

Some of these simple tips help me keep energy bills down and helps me to stay comfortable in the summer.
